After picket, Krasnodar activist accused of discrediting army

Law enforcers have accused Maria Pavlova of discrediting militaries; she was detained today in Krasnodar at a solo picket against mobilization.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 24, two protest actions against mobilization were held in Krasnodar; at least two persons were detained.

According to human rights defenders, on September 21, in Krasnodar, 14 people were detained for their protests against mobilization. Mikhail Benyash, an advocate, said that at least 23 protesters had been detained.

In Krasnodar, policemen have detained picketer Maria Pavlova, who was standing with a poster "No to mobilization!" near the monument to Catherine II, Maria told herself.

She was taken to the police department and accused under the article on discrediting the Russian Army, the human rights project "OVD-Info"* has reported on its Telegram channel "OVD-Info LIVE".

Let us add here that a mass action against mobilization was held on September 25 in Makhachkala. According to the "Chernovik" portal, about 300 people took part in the rally. Law enforcers violently dispersed the protesters.
