Chechen law enforcer Aguev threatens to send to Ukraine those who open fire at weddings
Rustam Aguev, the head of the Kurchaloi ROVD (District Interior Division), has called on his subordinates to send those who use firearms during wedding ceremonies to Ukraine. It follows from a video posted on the YouTube.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 6, Ramzan Kadyrov stated that "several thousand resolutely minded volunteers and elite fighters" were trained for sending to Ukraine. On September 7, Kadyrov announced that fighters from two "elite special units," regiment "Sever" (North) named after Akhmat Kadyrov and the "Yug" (South) battalion. Later, Ramzan Kadyrov clarified that Chechen OMON (riot police) fighters "Akhmat-Grozny" and the "oil-and-gas" police regiment had been also sent to Ukraine.
On September 16, the oppositional "Niyso" YouTube channel posted a video, in which Rustam Aguev, the head of above Kurchaloi ROVD, instructed his subordinates to send those who open shooting at weddings ceremonies to Ukraine.
As follows from the short video, Aguev is sitting in his study under a large portrait of Akhmat Kadyrov, while a number of uniformed policemen are sitting and standing along the walls. "We have gathered here today because of the men who love to carry firearms on them and use them at weddings. Check these people right away and take away their firearms. If they want to wear them, then let join our battalions. Our leader has formed and trained these battalions with the modern weapons. Let them take them and go there (to Ukraine), if they really want to shoot like that," Aguev said in the Chechen language, whose words were translated by the "Caucasian Knot".
