Kadyrov invites opponents of Jony’s concert to a dispute

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov addressed with insults the opponents of the concert of Jony, a singer of Azerbaijani origin, noting that they can personally express their dissatisfaction in the centre of Grozny.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on August 30, Chechen Minister of Press and Information Akhmed Dudaev called provocateurs the opponents of the Jony’s concert. The Chechen Minister invited the opponents to meet and discuss all claims on the square in front of the House of Celebrations in Grozny on August 31.

Ramzan Kadyrov also criticized the opponents of the Jony’s concert. On the night of August 31, he posted a video message and a post on his Telegram channel. “The upcoming concert of well-known singer Jony in Grozny caused dissatisfaction among religious dilettantes. If these self-named theologians want to confirm their words and provide evidence of their exceptional piety and commitment to the religion of all members of their families, which would allow them to criticize other people, then they are welcome to an open dialogue tomorrow near the House of Celebrations in Grozny,” the leader of Chechnya wrote.

In the video accompanying his post, Ramzan Kadyrov expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that some social media users addressed reproaches to his eldest daughter for liking a Jony’s post.

“My daughter is the Minister of Culture. And she communicates with all artists, this is her job to communicate with them. And yes, she likes posts and writes comments. I approve of that completely,” the leader of Chechnya emphasized, calling on those dissatisfied to gather “somewhere in the centre” or visit him at his residence.
