Ministry for Emergency Situations is warning about possibility of emergency situations because of heavy showers

The direction of the Southern Regional Center (SRC) of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations is warning about a possibility of emergency situations as a result of heavy showers being awaited in Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, and Ingushetia.

Heavy rains are awaited during Tuesday in Kabardino-Balkaria, on August 6 and 7 in Chechnya and Ingushetia. They may result in mud flowing and rain freshets on the rivers. Besides, water-levels in some small rivers of Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, and Chechnya may reach dangerous points, the source noted.

The SRC calls authorities of all levels to raise their readiness for the liquidation of possible emergency situations connected with heavy shower precipitation.
