Ceiling collapse in new Kaspiysk kindergarten sparks outrage in social networks

In one of the kindergartens in the city of Kaspiysk, which was recently commissioned, the ceiling collapsed; and the developer explained this by a draught, according to social networks. Luckily, there were no children in the room, Instagram* and "VKontakte" users have informed.

On July 22, a photo appeared in the Instagram* public "moy.daghestan", showing a collapsed suspended ceiling in the room. "I want to send you a photo of the collapsed ceiling in kindergarten No. 36 in Kaspiysk. The kindergarten was recently opened with great fanfare and participation of the head of the city, [Boris] Gontsov, the head of Dagestan, [Sergey] Melikov, and the head of the Federation Council, [Valentina] Matvienko. The developer has explained the collapse by the "draught" in the room, the caption to the photo asserts.

Social media users reacted to the photo with negative comments.

"It's an obvious hack-work," the user mi_lena9306 has written. "However, someone has no 'draught' in his pocket,” the user dannawaitt_ wrote ironically. "It's time to punish such developers and builders to the fullest extent," the user princ_705 has suggested.

"Everything here is like this, just for show – to make something quickly make and get as much money as possible. Nobody is responsible for anything. When there's no owner, such a mess happens," the user timuremirgamzaev05_ believes.

"It's luck that there were no children there," the user noji_ot_kasuma has noted. "And if all this had happened in the room where children were sleeping, then what?" Madina Alieva has asked.

*On March 21, 2022, the Tverskoi Court of Moscow banned the activities of the "Meta" Company (that owns the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) in Russia because of its alleged extremist activities.
