A group of unknown persons attacked the filming team of the "Pirveli" TV. Nanuka Kadjaya, a journalist, was insulted and physically assaulted by the attackers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 19, Murman Zoidze, a cameraman, was beaten during an attack on the filming team of the oppositional "Pirveli" TV Company in Batumi during a live broadcast. The attackers stated that they didn't like the editorial policy of the TV Company.

"Nanuka Kadjaya was attacked; unidentified people insulted and physically assaulted her," says the June 24 statement posted on the website of the "Pirveli" TV.

She was attacked only because she was holding a microphone with the "Pirveli" TV logo in her hand. The attack was preceded by an insult by Mamuka Mdinaradze (one of the leaders of the ruling "Georgian Dream" Party) of Nata Kadjaya, Nanuka's sister, who is also a journalist, the "Netgazeti.ge" outlet has reported.
