On June 24, a protest action "Home to Europe" was held in Tbilisi; the participants spoke out in support of Georgia's European integration. The "Netgazeti" outlet calculated that the action was from 60,000 to 80,000 strong.
The protesters' demand was voiced out by Shota Digmelashvili, an activist of the "Home to Europe" movement, as resignation of the Premier, Irakli Garibashvili, and the formation of a new government of national consent, the "Tavisupleba" Radio has reported.
"Irakli Garibashvili must resign! We need to form a government of national accord, which will fulfil all the 12 points before winter in order to comply with the requirements of the European Union," Mr Digmelashvili has stated.
