Azerbaijan reports shootout on Armenian border

Last night, Armenian militaries shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the Kelbadjar and Lachin Districts, after which Azerbaijani militaries opened a return fire, the Azeri Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Azerbaijan and Armenia are regularly blaming each other of shelling. On June 17, the Azeri MoD stated that Armenian militaries have shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the Kelbadjar District.

Last night, Armenian militaries shelled by using their small arms from the positions located near the Azerbaijani border in the village of Saibaly, Garakilsi District, and in the village of Ashagi Shordja, Basarkechar District, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the direction of Minkend in the Lachin District, and Yellidzh, Kelbadjar District, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported on its website today, adding that Azerbaijani militaries opened returned fire.
