Kadyrov refutes exchange of Saidov's son for Ukrainian Paevskaya

The reports that the son of Murad Saidov, a deputy Chechnya's permanent representative in Crimea, was exchanged for a Ukrainian woman, Yulia Paevskaya, are not true, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated, accusing the report authors of dishonesty.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ramzan Kadyrov regularly reports about sending detachments of volunteers from Chechnya to Ukraine, including residents of other Russian regions. Besides, he posts reports of commanders of Chechen fighting units that take part in the military operation.

The reports that the Ukrainian, Yulia Paevskaya, was exchanged for Adam Gritsenko, a son of Murad Saidov, a deputy permanent representative of Chechnya in Crimea, are untrue, Ramzan Kadyrov stated on June 20.

"I declare with all the responsibility that the reports that the Ukrainian nationalist Yulia Paevskaya, nicknamed Taira, was allegedly exchanged for Adam Gritsenko, a son of Murad Saidov, my deputy representative in Crimea and Sevastopol, have nothing to do with reality. Adam Gritsenko is a citizen of Ukraine and, according to his father, he is still in captivity in his own country. […] I'd recommend to those unscrupulous journalists who make self-promotion on this topic to show at least a little professional ethics and back up the replicated information with specific facts," Mr Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.
