Russians in Tbilisi stand against special operation in Ukraine

The Russian citizens who have moved to Georgia held an action in Tbilisi against the military operation in Ukraine. Two more pacifist actions were organized by local activists.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that actions in support of Ukraine have already been held in Georgia. Thus, on March 30, an action was held in Tbilisi in memory of the children who had perished in Ukraine; its participants brought children's shoes to the parliament building.

Several actions against Russian military operation in Ukraine were held on May 12 in Tbilisi. In particular, the Russian citizens who have moved to Georgia after the start of the special operation in Ukraine took part in the action "Independence Day from Putinism and Kremlin Dictatorship," the "News-Georgia" reports.

Another protest action was held by the "Free Russia Foundation in Georgia". The pacifist performance "State on Blood" was also held in Tbilisi.

After the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, tens of thousands of people moved to Georgia from Russia, some of them are actively participating in protests.

The protest action of Russian citizens in Tbilisi became part of an international action held by members of Russian Diasporas, the Georgian edition of SOVA writes.

Let us remind you that several hundred Georgian volunteers are participating in the hostilities in Ukraine. According to media reports, by June 11, 15 Georgians had perished there; five of them were citizens of Ukraine.
