The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 31, workers of two bottling factories in the town of Borjomi went on strike, demanding to punish those engaged in blackmailing, pressing and threatening workers, improve working conditions, and reinstate their dismissed comrades. On June 6, 2022, the strikers demanded not to involve strike-breakers, whom, according to their story, factory bosses intend to bring from other Georgian regions and even from other countries.
This morning, more than 400 striking workers of the "Borjomi" factories have blocked all the entrances to and exits from the facilities, as a result of which the operation thereof stopped.
