Kabardino-Balkaria: relatives of deceased militants ask to return automobiles
The residents of Kabardino-Balkaria, whose relatives perished on October 13, 2005, complain of illegal confiscation and dekitting of automobiles by the employees of power agencies. Thus, Oksana Daova says that her brother's car was taken away from the parking place, brought to the territory of the Department for Fighting Organized Crime (UBOP) of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) and dekitted there.
After the events of October 13, 2005, the car model VAZ-21099, belonging to Hadzhet Kardanova, a resident of the Urvan village, whose son Mukharbi Kardanov was among the attackers and perished, was confiscated and never returned since.
The same story was with Maryam Akhmatova's car, whose son Eduard Mironov was arrested in connection with the events of October 13, 2005.
Fatima Mamaeva was returned the "Opel-Vectra" car of her lost husband, Timur Mamaev, but in a completely dekitted condition.
