Telegram users urge Kadyrov to reveal Chechen death toll in Ukraine

Many volunteers have been sent from Chechnya to Ukraine, but the republic's authorities fail to disclose the number of those who perished in the special operation, the commentators to Ramzan Kadyrov's report about sending 600 volunteers to Ukraine have pointed out.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that after the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the authorities reported the deaths of at least nine natives of Chechnya there.

The lack of data about the residents of Southern Russia who perished in Ukraine is due to the fact that the scale of losses cannot be assessed until the end of the special operation, Caucasian experts have explained.

On May 14, Ramzan Kadyrov announced the sending of a group of more than 600 fighters to Ukraine, noting that "the volunteer movement is gaining momentum."

Under the Kadyrov's post, some Telegram users have placed reproaches addressed to the authorities. "Distrust in authorities continues growing; we are not told about our losses," the user Ryslan has written.

Let us remind you that on May 5, the head of Chechnya announced a sending of another detachment of 200 volunteers to Ukraine. They were attracted by the promise of large payouts or coercion, some Instagram* users have suggested.
