Zarema Musaeva's son informs about start of her treatment at SIZO

Doctors began treating Zarema Musaeva as prescribed, Abubakar Yangulbaev, her son, has informed, expressing his concern over his mother's custody in Grozny.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 11, Abubakar Yangulbaev, a lawyer and a Musaeva's son, pointed out that his mother suffers from diabetes mellitus with multiple complications; and colonies, special detention centres and SIZOs (pre-trial prisons) cannot keep people with this disease. The ambulance was called to the woman to the court and SIZO several times.

Zarema Musaeva, the wife of Saidi Yangulbaev, a former Russian federal judge, was forced by law enforcers from her apartment in Nizhny Novgorod to Grozny on January 20, 2022. On February 1, the woman was charged with assaulting a law enforcer.

Doctors have begun the prescribed treatment of Zarema Musaeva, her son, Abubakar Yangulbaev, reported on May 14 in his Telegram channel and posted a letter from his mother.

"She has started her treatment; she has everything she needs and even special sweets for diabetes patients. And well-wishers are sending gifts to her. But the problem is still the same ... She is still in captivity in Chechnya," Abubakar Yangulbaev said in his message.
