On April 18-24, 2022, no one fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of April 18-24, 2022, no killed or wounded in the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the “Caucasian Knot” based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Dagestani resident involved as a suspect in case on terrorism
On April 22, investigators announced a version according to which in October 2020, a 19-year-old resident of the Tarumovsky District learned how to handle weapons, explosive devices, and explosives and made an improvised explosive device to take part in terrorist activities. According to the investigators’ version, the young man studied videos on the Internet that showed various types of firearms and explained how to handle them and how to make improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The criminal case is being investigated under articles on training in terrorist activities and illegal trafficking in an improvised explosive device.
