Memorial plaque opened in memory of a Stavropol native who perished in Ukraine
Junior Sergeant Dmitry Podoprigora perished in Ukraine, and a memorial plaque was installed on the school building in the village of Kazgulak, where he studied, the administration of the Turkmen municipal district reported. Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the information about at least 13 perished natives of Stavropol has been officially confirmed.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that Junior Sergeant Maxim Selivanov, a reconnaissance combat engineer of a special forces group, a resident of the village of Zhuravskoye, also perished in Ukraine.
Junior Sergeant Dmitry Podoprigora served in a special forces regiment. A widow of the deceased soldier was handed over the Order of Courage, which Dmitry Podoprigora was posthumously awarded. Gennady Yefimov, the head of the district administration, expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased soldier, the administration of the Turkmen municipal district reported on its official website.
