Krasnodar resident fined under article on army discrediting
A fine of 30,000 roubles for discrediting the Russian Army has been imposed on a resident of Krasnodar, who set fire to a sofa in the street, writing a word with letter Z next to it.

After the article about discrediting the Russian Armed Forces was adopted, a number of activists have been fined under it. Thus, on April 14, a court in Sochi fined a man who, according to law enforcers, had torn letters Z and V from a booth.
A court in Krasnodar has found the above 24-year-old local resident guilty of discrediting the Russian Army, the press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory has informed. "On April 13, the man ... held a protest action. He used slogans and set fire to a sofa in order to attract attention," the "Interfax" reports.
