On April 11-17, 2022, no one fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of April 11-17, 2022, no killed or wounded in the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the “Caucasian Knot” based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Detentions
The FSB detained in Stavropol a man suspected of having connections with the “Islamic State” (ISIL, a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by the court, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”). The suspect is suspected of plotting a terror act on a transport infrastructure facility, the Centre for Public Relations of the Russian FSB reports.
The FSB demonstrated explosives. During his interrogation, the detainee said that he was planning to activate a bomb at the railway station.
Every month, quarter, and every year, the “Caucasian Knot” posts statistics with regard to victims of the armed conflict in the regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) in Section “Northern Caucasus: Statistics of Victims”.
