Activist detained in Krasnodar

In Krasnodar, law enforcers have detained Alexander Aposhnyansky, an activist, who had earlier taken part in the action against the special operation in Ukraine, and drew up a protocol against him on non-payment of certain earlier fines for violating traffic rules.

According to the activist, policemen were outraged by the "Nemtsov Bridge" pin attached to his jacket. Law enforcers took him to the police station in Krasnodar, citing two unpaid fines for traffic violations as the reason, the "OVD Live" Telegram channel informed on April 1.

The fines for violation of traffic rules, for non-payment of which Aposhnyansky was taken to the police, are in the process of appealing in court. The activist believes that his detention was deliberate, as law enforcers, according to his version, recognized him by his clothes."

A protocol was drawn up against the activist under Article 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "Failure to pay fines on time."

On March 6, during an action against the special operation in Ukraine held in Krasnodar, Aposhnyansky was beaten up by law enforcers during detention. Later, the Leninsky District Court arrested him for five days for resisting the police, the "OVD Live" has informed.
