Two wounded Karabakh militaries brought to Yerevan
Two servicemen, who received most severe wounds during the shelling from the Azerbaijan, have been sent to the capital of Armenia, Gegam Stepanyan, the Nagorno-Karabakh Ombudsperson, has informed. The health condition of the remaining 12 wounded persons causes no doctors' concern, he specified.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 25, the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities claimed that Azerbaijani militaries had shelled the positions of the Defence Army. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the unrecognized republic reported three dead, and its Ombudsperson Gegam Stepanyan – about 14 wounded servicemen.
Two out of those wounded on March 25 and hospitalized in extremely grave condition have been taken to Yerevan, Mr Stepanyan has informed.
"At the moment, the health condition of one of them remains extremely grave, while the condition of the other is assessed as moderate with positive dynamics," the "News.am" quoted Gegam Stepanyan as saying in the evening on March 27.
According to the Ombudsperson, seven other wounded militaries stay in Nagorno-Karabakh for inpatient treatment; their condition is assessed as good. "Five people were discharged after receiving the appropriate medical care," the outlet quotes him as saying.
