Chechnya is outsider in wages of residents of small towns and medium-sized cities
On the average, residents of small towns and medium-sized towns in Chechnya received 23,900 roubles per month in 2021; the ratio of these wages to the cost of the minimum set of goods and services is 1.43. A similar picture is in Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, Dagestan and Karachay-Cherkessia.
The 2021 rating of small and medium-sized cities in Russia by salaries and wages has been released by the RIA "Novosti" today, March 28. The regions are ranked by the ratio of wages in small and medium-sized dwelling settlements to the cost of a fixed set of goods and services.
Among the regions of Southern Russia, the highest average salary is earned by residents of small and medium-sized towns of the Astrakhan Region (the 28th place in Russia) – 37,300 roubles. The above ratio of the salary level to the cost of the set of goods and services is 2.41.
Chechnya has become the outsider of the entire rating. Here, in 2021, residents of small towns and medium-sized cities received an average of 23,900 roubles; and the ratio thereof to the cost of the fixed set of goods and services was 1.43.
