Russian MoD recognizes reports on 1351 Russian militaries perished in Ukraine

During the month since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, 1351 militaries perished and other 3825 were injured, the Russian General Headquarters reported. According to the calculations run by the “Caucasian Knot” and based on the official data, at least 148 natives of Southern Russia perished.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on February 27, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the first time recognized losses in Ukraine. On March 2, the MoD of Russia reported that 498 Russian militaries were killed and other 1597 were injured in the special military operation.

The state will take over the support of the families of the deceased, promises Colonel General Sergey Rudskoi, First Deputy Chief of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

According to Colonel General Sergey Rudskoi, the main tasks of the first stage of the special military operation have been completed, “the combat potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been significantly reduced.” This will allow “focusing efforts on the main goal: the liberation of Donbass,” said Colonel General as quoted by the “Interfax”.
