Soldier wounded in Nagorno-Karabakh

On Friday night, the Azerbaijani armed forces shelled the positions of soldiers of Nagorno-Karabakh, one Armenian soldier was injured, the authorities of the unrecognized republic reported.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on March 16, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia denied the information that the Azerbaijani armed forces had advanced a kilometre into the Kapan municipality of the Syunik Region. Residents of the Nerkin Hand community complained that they had to stop driving out livestock and lost their livelihood after the Azerbaijani armed forces were deployed on new positions. On March 24, Nagorno-Karabakh claimed that the Azerbaijani military had violated the line of contact in the Askeran District, but Baku denied the accusations.

Negotiations, involving peacekeepers, the Azerbaijani militaries, and bodies of Nagorno-Karabakh did not produce significant results, and Azerbaijani soldiers did not return to their original positions.
