Rights defender Oleg Orlov accused of discrediting Russian Army
Oleg Orlov, a board member of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial"*, was detained in Moscow and charged with an offense under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.
On March 20, law enforcers brought Oleg Orlov and eight other persons detained with posters in Moscow streets to the police station.
Policemen released Oleg Orlov after drawing up a protocol on public actions aimed at discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, the HRC "Memorial"* has reported on its Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that on March 6, in Moscow, law enforcers also detained Oleg Orlov, who came out with a poster to Manezhnaya Square, along with other protesters against the military operation in Ukraine.
