Two natives of Volgograd Region perish in Ukraine
Evgeny Schegolkov, a native of the city of Serafimovich, and Sergey Miller, a native of the village of Korostino, Kotovsky District, have perished in Ukraine. Since the start of the special operation of the Russian militaries, at least ten military servicemen from the Volgograd Region have died.
The death of Evgeny Schegolkov, 37, a resident of Uryupinsk, in the special operation in Ukraine became known on March 13. He served under contract in the parachute regiment of the Tula Airborne Division, the "Volgograd Online" informed on March 13 with reference to the Uryupinsk administration. Schegolkov was born in Serafimovich; and then his family moved to Uryupinsk.
Sergey Miller, a native of the village of Korostino, Kotovsky District, has also perished in Ukraine, the district administration announced on March 11 in its Instagram page. Miller was 27 years old; he served under contract. His mother and two brothers remained in the village of Korostino, the report says.
Thus, since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, it became known about the deaths of at least ten servicemen from the Volgograd Region.
