Karabakh police report about mortar attacks on two villages

The villages of Khnapat and Parukh were fired with mortars from the Azerbaijani side, no one was injured, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Nagorno-Karabakh reported.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that today, the Nagorno-Karabakh MIA has reported about a mortar shelling attack on the territory of a school in the village of Khnapat in the Askeran District. No one was injured.

According to the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Defence (MoD), on the night of March 10, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired about 23 mortar shells in the direction of the Khramort village in the Askeran District in the Khodjaly and Agdam Districts of Azerbaijan. On March 9, the Nagorno-Karabakh MIA also reported about mortar and grenade shelling attacks on the villages. Baku stated that the military of Karabakh started shooting, and the Azerbaijani armed forces only returned fire.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, three mortar shots were fired in the direction of the village of Khnapat, and two more shells hit the territory of the village of Parukh. There were no casualties among the civilian population.
