Serviceman from Astrakhan Region perishes in Ukraine

Temirlan Djasagulov, a native of the village of Alcha in the Krasnoyarsk District, has perished in hostilities in Ukraine, local authorities have informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 1 it became known that Arman Narynbaev, a resident of the Krasnoyarsk District of the Astrakhan Region, perished in the military operation in Ukraine.

The special operation of Russian troops in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. As of March 2, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD), 498 Russian military servicemen perished there; other 1597 were wounded.

The perished Junior Sergeant Temirlan Djasagulov was 29 years old, said Igor Babushkin, the Governor of the Astrakhan Region.

"For the heroism demonstrated in the performance of special missions during the special operation in Ukraine, the serviceman has been awarded the Order of Courage," Mr Babushkin wrote on the Instagram.

Thus, since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least two soldiers from the Astrakhan Region have become known.
