Military serviceman who perished in Ukraine buried in Ingushetia

The funeral of the 21-year-old Ibragim Gazikov, who perished during the military operation in Ukraine, was held on Wednesday (March 9) in the village of Kantyshevo, Nazran District of Ingushetia. Gazikov was awarded the Order of Courage, said the head of the republic, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that servicemen from Ingushetia perished during the special operation in Ukraine; and all festive events in the republic have been cancelled, the head of the republic said on March 1. On March 3, the funeral of the 30-year-old sergeant Ilez Torshkhoev was held. On March 4, six more natives of the republic were buried.

Thus, since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least eight natives of Ingushetia became known.
