Karabakh villagers complain about regular shelling

The villages of Khramort and Norshen in Nagorno-Karabakh are regularly shelled by the Azerbaijani party, despite the presence of Russian peacemakers, the villagers have complained. The last such incident occurred on March 6, the Karabakh Prosecutor's Office has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Baku and Yerevan are regularly exchanging accusations of shelling. Thus, the Azeri Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported that on March 6, the positions of Azerbaijani militaries in the Agdam District were shelled.

"Attempts are undertaken to disrupt the normal life of the Khramort village, and to disrupt agricultural works. The use of military force has been added to psychological pressure on civilians. Today, Azerbaijan again has committed a provocation by conducting intense fire on the Armenian party," the Nagorno-Karabakh Prosecutor's Office has stated.

On March 4, residents of the village of Norshen in the Martuni District were shelled while working in the field, said Unan Tadevosyan, the head of the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), has informed, adding that the situation calmed down after the intervention of Russian peacemakers.
