Six natives of Kabardino-Balkaria die since start of special military operation in Ukraine

The funeral of three killed militaries during a special military operation in Ukraine was held in Kabardino-Balkaria, and one more military will be buried on March 3. Today, it has been reported about the deaths of two natives of the republic, the press service for the leader of Kabardino-Balkaria reports.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on March 1, Kazbek Kokov, the leader of Kabardino-Balkaria, announced that four militaries from the republic were killed during the military special operation by the Russian troops in Ukraine. Kazbek Kokov promised support to the families of the killed militaries.

Today, the funeral of Police Lieutenant Colonel Aslan Keshtov from the village of Kenzhe, Senior Lieutenant Renat Kalazhokov from the village of Baksanenok, and Senior Sergeant Albert Gekhov from Nalchik has taken place. A ceremony of farewell to Major Police Ratmir Kudaev from the village of Verkhny Akbash will be held on March 3, the press service for the leader of Kabardino-Balkaria reports.

Today, it has been reported about the deaths of two other natives of Kabardino-Balkaria: Alim Bachiev from the village of Kendelen and Anyuar Etezov from the village of Yanikoi, reports the website of the leader of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The government of the republic will pay one million roubles to the families of the each deceased military, and 300,000 roubles will be paid to each injured fighter from Kabardino-Balkaria. According to the official report, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) will also pay more than a million roubles to the families of the each dead soldier.
