At rally in Goity, relatives renounce Yangulbaevs

At a rally in the village of Goity, relatives of the Yangublaev and Musaev families and members of the Keloi teip (family clan) renounced their relatives and promised to take revenge on them, the "Grozny" TV Company has reported. Some users, commenting on the story about the rally on the TV Company's Instagram page, demanded to release Zarema Musaeva.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 1, the Chechen officials sharply condemned the members of the Yangulbaev family and cursed and insulted its members, threatening to execute them. Ramzan Kadyrov compared the members of the Yangulbaev family with Khattab and Basaev. On February 2, residents of Chechnya went out to a rally in central Grozny on order to voice curses, following the republic's leadership, against the Yangulbaev family. The pro-government Chechen media have treated the rally as spontaneous and reported that 400,000 people took part therein.

Read the “Caucasian Knot” reference material “How Yangulbaevs became Kadyrov’s enemies” to find how the conflict began, what accusations Ramzan Kadyrov voiced, what the Yangulbaev family answered the leader of Chechnya, and what role in the development of the situation was played by an opposition Telegram channel.

The rally condemning Yangulbaevs was held in front of the mosque in the village of Goity, the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Company) has reported today. "Members of the Keloi teip have severely criticized the Yangulbaev family and disowned them. Resentment and claims against the Yangulbaev family were expressed primarily by relatives and members of their own teip. (...) The family, relatives and the entire Keloi teip have turned away from Yangulbaevs. Moreover, all those gathered, including their own clan, declared revenge and enmity on them," the TV Company said in its Instagram page.

Today, the account of the "Grozny" ChGTRK in the Instagram social network posted a fragment of a report from the rally in the village of Goity with a speech by Zarema Musaeva's brother. "The brother of the detained Zarema Musaeva (Yangulbaeva) also addressed the audience with curses against the Yangulbaevs," the caption to the video says.

Some authors of comments to the post demanded to release Musaeva. "Release the sick woman," the user 111_89_ has written. "Why was she detained? It wasn't she who went against them! It's not a man who is at war with a woman!" the user ami389kost has stated. "Let the woman go, it doesn't befit a man," the user prostak___27 has pointed out.
