Journalist presents story of Kadyrov's enmity with Yangulbaev family
Ramzan Kadyrov has included the Yangulbaevs into the list of his enemies after Ibragim Yangublaev was detained for creating the public VKontakte and exposed to torture. Ibragim was tortured, among other places, in Kadyrov's residence, where the head of Chechnya declared a blood feud against him, the "Novaya Gazeta" writes.
The "Committee against Torture" (CaT)* has reported that Zarema Musaeva, the wife of Saidi Yangulbaev, a retired Russian federal judge, was forced to Chechnya. Ramzan Kadyrov publicly stated that the Yangulbaevs' place was "either in prison or under the ground."
The situation with the Yangulbaevs began developing critically in February 2020, when Ibragim and Baisangur, the middle and younger sons of the judge, Saidi Yangulbaev, urgently left Russia, while their parents, the elder brother and their sister began receiving messages with threats of kidnapping, murder and rape.
The persecution of the Yangulbaevs began with the middle son Ibragim. He created a group in the VKontakte social network, where he posted photos of those killed during the hostilities by residents of Chechnya and made fun of Chechen authorities.
Ibragim Yangulbaev said that he was beaten up after he laughed at a meeting with Kadyrov, and the latter declared a blood feud on him. On the same day, November 18, 2015, Judge Yangulbaev wrote a resignation application.
Ibragim Yangulbaev was released from a secret prison in May 2016, and in May 2017, he was again detained for the same reason, as he had restored his group in the social network.
