Chechen blogger Tumso promises to avenge his kidnapped relatives

The numerous kidnappings of relatives of Kadyrov's critics living in Chechnya and Astrakhan have become an unprecedented method of combating the dissent; and there will be retribution for the abducted women, the Chechen blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, has promised at a rally in Strasbourg.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Assembly of European Chechens was one of the organizers of the rally that was attended by more than 400 people from the countries of the European Union (EU).

Abdurakhmanov has addressed the kidnappers of Chechen residents, including his relatives: "You are doing things that have never been practiced by our people and that are shameful. You began to abduct women, my wife's relatives ... I swear we'll pay you at home for this."

Tumso has noted that Chechen Diasporas know the supporters of Ramzan Kadyrov and his entourage who live in Europe.

Let us remind you that on December 24, Tumso Abdurakhmanov said that six out of nine of his kidnapped relatives had been released, but the fate and whereabouts of his uncle, a cousin and a nephew are still unknown. He also reported the abduction of his wife's mother and sister living in Astrakhan.
