Father of blogger Khalitov threatens to kill him for criticizing Kadyrov

In a video message, a resident of Chechnya accused his own son Khasan Khalitov of slandering the leaders of the republic and said that he wanted to kill the blogger who had left for Turkey. Khasan Khalitov publicly refused to apologize to Ramzan Kadyrov for criticism.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that in September, blogger Khasan Khalitov who lives in Turkey accused Chechen law enforcers of kidnapping his relatives in Chechnya. The blogger also stated that the Chechen authorities supported the announcement of blood feud against him and several families in the republic.

Several days ago, Khasan Khalitov recorded an audio message to Ramzan Kadyrov. The blogger calls the leader of Chechnya “the chief shaitan (demon) of the Caucasus” and a “bastard” and invites him to leave for the Kremlin, “marry (Russian President Vladimir) Putin, and live in his kitchen.”

In his comment, stephen.bosco, a reader of the “Caucasian Knot”, suggested that the father of Khasan Khalitov had recorded his message under pressure.

Earlier, residents of Chechnya have also recorded video messages with harsh criticism of their relatives who migrated from Russia and criticized the leaders of the region. So, on September 15, Ramzan Kadyrov voiced on his Instagram page the threats against Akhmed Zakaev, who lives in the UK, and promised to “burn” him for mentioning Akhmat Kadyrov. Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen parliament, then threatened that Akhmed Zakaev’s relatives would be forced to publicly condemn him if he did not stop criticizing the republic’s authorities. After that, a video was posted on the Internet in which Akhmed Zakaev’s brothers living in Chechnya insulted him and threatened him with reprisals.
