Law enforcer punished for detaining activist Diana Dibirova in Makhachkala

The policeman who on January 23 brought the student, Diana Dibirova, to the police station from the square in Makhachkala has been brought to disciplinary responsibility.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Dibirova was among those detained on January 23 during a rally in support of the opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, in Makhachkala. The girl was handed a warning about the inadmissibility of participating in illegal actions, but she achieved in court the recognition of law enforcers' actions to be illegal. On April 21, policemen took her right from the classes and drew up a protocol on petty hooliganism.

"On January 23, Diana Dibirova was taken to the police station. On July 23, the court ruled that her delivery was unlawful. Now the policeman has been brought to disciplinary responsibility," the lawyer, Marat Ismailov, wrote on the Facebook.

According to his story, Dibirova expects to receive an apology from the policeman; and from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) – compensation for moral harm caused by illegal delivery to the police station.
