Mitsaeva treats her return to Chechnya as unresolved
Despite the permit received from Ramzan Kadyrov, Rubati Mitsaeva, an emigrant, said that she had not yet agreed on her return to Chechnya.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 6, Rubati Mitsaeva, who lives in Germany, appealed to Ramzan Kadyrov asking him to allow her to return to Chechnya. In the course of a video dialogue, the latter assured that she and "others who had left Chechnya can return home at any time," and specifically Mitsaeva, according to his promise, is not facing any criminal prosecution at home. Rubati Mitsaeva has stressed that a year ago she stopped being a comrade-in-arms of Akhmed Zakaev, who lives in Great Britain.
Rubati Mitsaeva has clarified to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the issue of her return to Chechnya has not yet been resolved. "No, I haven't agreed yet," she said, without specifying the stage the negotiations had reached.
According to Mitsaeva, she has no direct contacts with Chechen leadership.
She has also commented on her video message to the blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, a well-known critic of Ramzan Kadyrov. Mitsaeva has explained that she criticized the blogger, being dissatisfied with the position of his supporters.
The Rubati Mitsaeva's video appeal to Tumso Abdurakhmanov was posted on October 24 by several popular Chechen Instagram posts. She called Tumso a hypocrite, pointing out that he had complained about persecution in Chechnya, but left the republic "without a single scratch."
