Chechen Instagram public accounts criticize Mitsaeva’s appeal to Abdurakhmanov

In her video appeal to Tumso Abdurakhmanov, Rubati Mitsaeva, who lives in Berlin, has supported Ramzan Kadyrov, who permitted her to return to Chechnya, and joined in criticizing the blogger. Instagram users consider the appeal of the Akhmed Zakaev’s former comrade-in-arms to be emotional and insufficiently reasoned.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on October 6, Rubati Mitsaeva, who lives in Germany, appealed to Ramzan Kadyrov with a request to permit her to return to Chechnya. Rubati Mitsaeva emphasized that a year ago she had stopped being a comrade-in-arms of Akhmed Zakaev, who lives in Great Britain and whom, according to analysts, Ramzan Kadyrov perceives as a rival.

The video appeal from Rubati Mitsaeva to Tumso Abdurakhmanov, a blogger from Chechnya, was posted on October 24. At the beginning of the video, Rubati Mitsaeva admires real men and mentions Ramzan Kadyrov in that context. Then, she moves on to the topic of “not real men,” voices the name of Tumso Abdurakhmanov, and addresses him directly.

“According to your version, there [in Chechnya] they kill and subject people to different terrible things. Let’s talk about how, by what lucky chance, you left Grozny without a single scratch on your body. How could that happen?” Rubati Mitsaeva said, in particular.

She also criticized Tumso Abdurakhmanov for reproaching her for the fact that Ramzan Kadyrov permitted her to return to Chechnya. “How much did it hurt you? The old, sick woman, who, perhaps, has not long left to live, goes home. And you, instead of saying: ‘It's good that at least she is allowed to go home’ [did not say that],” Rubati Mitsaeva expressed her indignation and addressed several bad words to the blogger.

In their comments under the video appeal, posted in Russian, some social media users supported Rubati Mitsaeva. A significant majority of the users considered the video appeal too emotional, and the Rubati Mitsaeva’s claims against Tumso Abdurakhmanov insufficiently reasoned.

“It's ridiculous what this woman is talking about!” wrote user zalina.77.dadaeva. “To be honest, I had a higher opinion of this person!” noted user ib_ra_gim.
