Social network users doubt law enforcers' version about CTO in Dagestan

The condition of certain objects shown in the video about the counterterrorist operation (CTO) conducted in the Buynaksk District, which, according to law enforcers, had belonged to the killed militants, fails to meet the conditions of staying in the forest, which raises doubts about the official version of the reasons for the CTO, Instagram users have pointed out.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, the CTO regime was introduced in the Buynaksk District. During the CTO, two militants were killed after they opened fire, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has reported. The CTO was held in a forest near the village of Talgi; the village was full of soldiers, local residents said. According to sources, those killed were identified as Urudj Ramazanov and Eiruz Abdulaev.

"After [Gasanguseinov] brothers were killed, I no longer trust authorities at all! They can plant weapons and say a lot," the user aliyarov21 wrote on the Instagram.

Nabi, 17, and Gasangusein, 19, Gasanguseinov were killed on August 23, 2016, in an operation conducted by law enforcers in the Shamil District. Then, law enforcers asserted that the brothers had been militants, but their fellow villagers categorically refuted the version.

On September 7, Sergey Melikov, the acting head of Dagestan, stated that there were no illegal armed groupings in Dagestan, but preventive operations are continuing in the region.

"Show the video in which they were offered to surrender, but they opened fire at you. Then, you'll be right," the user dag_flyfishing1 has written.
