Ingush woman suspected of being trained in terrorist camp

In a camp for recruits of the "Islamic State" (IS)* in Syria, a woman from Ingushetia, earlier suspected of links with militants, received training in mine explosives, investigators assert.

According to their version, before April 2015, the 30-year-old woman, now residing in Syria participated in the activities of an IS* cell. At the training camp for recruiters, she "received training in mine explosives and providing emergency medical care in order to use this knowledge and skills in committing terror acts."

Law enforcers have found these facts when they were investigating the case initiated against the woman about her participation in the activities of a terrorist organization as a member of an illegal armed formation (IAF) in the territory of a foreign state. The maximum punishment under these articles is 20 years in prison.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 6, investigators announced the arrest of four residents of Ingushetia on suspicion of plotting terror acts. Three of them are minors; the fourth one has recently turned 18 years old. The detainees' mothers assert that their children had given no grounds to suspect them of sympathy for terrorists.
