After attack on him and his family in Istanbul, resident of Chechnya declares blood feud

Akhmed Arsnukaev has stated that in Istanbul, he, his wife and child were attacked by a group of armed people, among which was a relative of the Naurbaev family who is wanted on terrorist charges. He has announced a blood feud against Naurbaevs.

In a video posted on the YouTube, Arsnukaev said that he would kill the Naurbaevs' relative, who had attacked his family, and if he failed to find him, he would execute someone else from his relatives.

According to Arsnukaev, a relative from the Naurbaev family, who is wanted for terrorism, attacked his family in Istanbul.

"By using foul language and pointing their weapons, they threatened to kill in front of his eyes the sick child brought to Turkey for treatment ... then his wife, and then himself," the message says.

No persuasions and requests affected the armed people. By threats, they forced Arsnukaev to record a video slandering the authorities of Chechnya, and also demanded to record on the camera the insults addressed to law enforcers' wives and daughters.

The Arsnukaevs' kin has announced that it will take revenge on the attackers, and declared a blood feud against their families. They have already identified four of the attackers.
