Azerbaijan claims shelling in NAR direction

Armenian militaries have shelled the positions of their Azerbaijani opponents stationed near the Heydarabad settlement in the Sadarak District of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic (NAR), the Azeri Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Azerbaijan periodically informs about shelling on the border of the Ararat Region of Armenia and the NAR. Thus, on August 9, the Azerbaijani MoD Ministry announced that Armenian militaries had shelled the positions of Azerbaijani militaries stationed in the NAR's Sadarak District.

"On August 10, from their positions in the dwelling settlement of Arazdeyen in the Vedi District, units of the Armenian Armed Forces shelled from various calibre weapons the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the direction of the settlement of Heydarabad in the NAR's Sadarak District," the MoD's website has informed.
