Interrogation of Berezovskiy on Litvinenko's case is over in London
In London, a meeting took place of entrepreneur Boris Berezovskiy with representatives of law enforcement bodies of Russia and Great Britain, where Mr. Berezovskiy gave evidence to Russian investigators on the murder case of Alexander Litvinenko, former Russian FSB (Federal Security Bureau) officer. Boris Berezovskiy himself told about it after the meeting to the Russian Information Agency (RIA) "Novosti."
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed earlier that Mr. Berezovskiy had agreed to testify on Litvinenko's case under observance of three conditions: the meeting should not take place in the building of Russian Embassy; it should be video filmed and a copy of video record should be given to him; and the investigators should be examined for the presence of poisons and weapons. The Scotland Yard has ensured the observance of the requirements.
Earlier, Berezovskiy had declared: "The only reason why I go to this meeting is to deprive the Russian State Office of Public Prosecutor of any arguments to hamper Scotland Yard's inspectors from coming to Moscow and interrogating witnesses or suspects there in the investigation into my friend's murder."
