Instagram users discuss sincerity of appeal recorded by Tseretilova’s son

A boy, whose disappearance was claimed by Nina Tseretilova, said that he wanted to live together with his father in Dagestan. Some Instagram users suggested that a video message was recorded under pressure.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that Nina Tseretilova filed to the law enforcement bodies a complaint about the disappearance of her son. The woman suggested that the disappearance of the child might involve her former husband, whom a Makhachkala court restricted in parental rights on June 16.

On the evening of July 18, the “Godekan” Telegram channel released a video message from the Nina Tseretilova’s disappeared son. The boy gives his name and explains that he stays together with his father in Dagestan. “Everything is fine with me, and no one kidnapped me. I voluntarily left my mother for my father. <...> I want to live with my father,” the boy says.

According to the Telegram channel, the video message was filmed on July 18.

Most of the users of the Instagram public account “Lifedagestan”, which posted the video, supported the boy. “He is a real man,” user barashka_shop wrote. “Let him live with his father and receive a decent upbringing,” user nimd.22 noted.

However, other users have suggested that the video message was recorded under pressure. “Poor boy, he had to learn the text,” user m.al.rk.i wrote. “He is afraid of his father, and it is clear and understandable,” claimed user dopel_gunger.
