Three “Akhmat” football players suspended from training after a fight at stadium

The “Akhmat” Football Club (FC) has suspended football players Lechi Sadulaev, Abdul-Malik Djakuev, and Turpal-Ali Ibishev from training after a massive fight that took place during a match with the “Lokomotiv” FC. The football players will also not participate in a special training camp, the “Akhmat” FC reports today.

On May 27, during the youth football championship, a footballer of the “Akhmat” youth team attacked a referee after receiving a red card during a match between the “Akhmat” and “Lokomotiv” teams. Then a massive fight began, during which, according to the press service for the “Lokomotiv” FC, two football players of the Moscow team were injured. The attack on the referee and the “Lokomotiv” football players illustrates the statement voiced by football player Artyom Dziuba about the atmosphere in Grozny, for which some coaches wanted him to apologize, football fans note.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 21, Vyacheslav Grozny, a former head coach of the "Akhmat" FC, stated that Artyom Dzyuba should apologize for talking about the "oppressive atmosphere" at the "Akhmat-Arena" Stadium.

The “Akhmat” FC suspended from training three participants of the mass fight during the match with the “Lokomotiv” team. “The managers of the ‘Akhmat’ FC decided to suspend football players Lechi Sadulaev, Abdul-Malik Djakuev, and Turpal-Ali Ibishev from the training process after the incident that happened during the match of the final round of the youth championship between the ‘Akhmat’ and ‘Lokomotiv’ teams,” the “Akhmat” FC announces today on its official website.

Let us remind you that visiting fans and football players of the teams playing with the “Akhmat” team have repeatedly faced aggression at the stadium in Grozny. This has been noted earlier by readers of sports websites. The fans have supported Artyom Dziuba and criticized the declaration of Vyacheslav Grozny about the traditional Caucasian hospitality in Chechnya.
