Kadyrov threatens to kill social media user for comment

One of Instagram commentators has called Ramzan Kadyrov a "shaitan". In response, the head of Chechnya promised to find the user who needed to write a will and threatened to liquidate him.

On May 17, the head of Chechnya was live on the Instagram. He drew attention to the comment of one of the users and read it out. "You aren't a man – you are just a shaitan," he quoted one of the commentators and started laughing.

"If you write this to me, I'll find you and we'll see who of us is a shaitan ... Send me your data directly. Let's see who of us is a shaitan. I've liquidated a lot of shaitans, and will liquidate you too," the head of Chechnya promised.

Tumso Abdurakhmanov, a blogger, has commented on Kadyrov's statement in his Telegram channel. "The head of a Russian region threatens to liquidate an Instagram commentator," Tumso has written.

Earlier, Kadyrov had already threatened the authors of negative materials about Chechnya, as well as social network users who comment on these materials; in particular, in November 2019, he did it at a sitting of the republic's government.
