Kadyrov tells about his presidential ambitions

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, sees his mission to work in the republic and does not want to become President of Russia, since Russia already has "the best president in the world," he said on the Instagram.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in 2016, Kadyrov was elected for his third term, having received, according to official data, 97% of the votes. Even before the vote, residents of the republic stated that the winner had been defined in advance. Kadyrov's 14-year-long stay as the head of Chechnya is the longest among the leaders of Russian regions.

Kadyrov's chances of being re-elected in September 2021 are great, since the Kremlin still treats him favourably, and Kadyrov's strained relations with federal law enforcers have smoothed out, experts believe.

When asked by a subscriber on the Instagram live on air about what plans Kadyrov has, he replied that he only plans to serve his people.

Most commentators have supported Kadyrov. In particular, the user antokhinaliudmila wrote that the head of Chechnya knows how to lead people and enjoys authority.

Several commentators have stressed that Kadyrov lives in luxury.

Kadyrov has been in the post of the head of Chechnya for such a long time thanks to the fact that he is supported by the President of Russia, the user __55529 has noted.

Let us remind you that in 2017, Kadyrov at least twice announced his readiness to resign.
