A man killed in CTO in Makhachkala

In Makhachkala, a man, who was shooting at law enforcers, was killed by return fire, a source reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that this morning, a counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been started in the Soviet District of Makhachkala after the law enforcement bodies received the information about the preparation of a terror act. When offered to surrender and lay down arms, an armed man opened fire from a private house, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported.

According to the preliminary information, earlier, the killed suspect had served a long term of imprisonment in a penal colony for participation in the armed underground and was released from prison two years ago.
