Law enforcers report discovering a hiding of militant killed in Dagestan
Combat engineers destroyed fuses of grenades, which were stored in a hiding arranged in the Kizlyar District of Dagestan, the National Guard of Russia reports.
According to the preliminary information, the hiding belonged to a member of the "Kizlyar" grouping, who was killed in a special operation in the Kizlyar District. The "Caucasian Knot" reported that on September 13, 2012, law enforcers cordoned off a group of militants in the Kizlyar District of Dagestan. As a result, one soldier was wounded, and one militant was killed.
Let us remind you that Rustam Gasanov, who, according to the law enforcement bodies' information, was the leader of the "Kizlyar" grouping of militants, was killed during a counterterrorist operation (CTO) conducted in Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk on June 8, 2012. In 2003, he was serving a sentence for robbery, and in September 2009, he joined the armed underground and was put on the wanted list, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported. Five other persons were killed together with him.
