President Putin calls video about palace near Gelendzhik compilation and montage

The Russian President states that a palace from the journalistic investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF, recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) does not belong to him or any of his relatives.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the ACF released an investigation about the palace located near Gelendzhik, the largest private house in Russia, which is being built with money from state-owned companies. The square of the palace and the terrain adjacent to it could accommodate 39 principalities of Monaco, says oppositionist Alexei Navalny. Ecologists considered the investigation about the palace located near Gelendzhik as a blow to the President Putin's image.

The release of the journalistic investigation followed the arrest of Alexei Navalny. The court's decision provoked mass protests across the country. The Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) recognized Alexei Navalny as a political prisoner.

The very information about the palace is not new, Vladimir Putin has said during a broadcast on the RBC's YouTube channel.

"This information is being disseminated for more than 10 years already. And now, they have got a convenient moment, combined everything, and decided to brainwash citizens with these materials," the Russian President said.

Vladimir Putin also claims that he does not know some of the people mentioned in the video released by the ACF.
