Abkhazian refugees threaten to hold mass protest actions in Georgia
The Party "We Ourselves" has expressed its support to the refugees from Abkhazia, who have been deprived their jobs at night today, when the authorities have forbidden street traders and kiosk owners to trade near the "Gotseridze" underground station in the capital of Georgia.
Paata Davitaya, the leader of the movement, has declared that the smashing of the trading objects located near the "Gotseridze" underground station, undertaken today at night by the City Supervision Service, is illegal. Refugees from Abkhazia were among the people, who have lost their jobs and property. They have declared that the authorities have broken their property rights and demanded compensation of the damage caused to them and their workplaces.
Mr. Davitaya has stated that should the City authorities who practise genocide of their own people fail to fulfil the demands of the refugees, the latter will start their mass protest actions.
